 Weather in the Alps, Pyrenees and Dolomites can change rapidly. Temperatures can vary from below freezing to 35C in an hour or less. You should have both winter and summer kit available in your 'day bag' on the support vehicle.
ESSENTIAL KIT - 2 x 750ml water bottles and sterilisation / cleaning kit - On-bike repair kit with spare tube, pump, allen keys, puncture outfit and tyre levers - Rear LED flashing light for tunnels - Mobile phone - Crash helmet - 2 cycle shirts - 2 pairs bib shorts - Leg warmers or long cycle trousers - 2 cycle vests - high wicking - Arm warmers - Summer weight jacket or gilet - Summer gloves - Winter gloves - Waterproof cycle jacket, Gortex or equivalent - Cycle shoes fitted with appropriate pedal clips … this list gives basic / absolute essentials. There are other obvious things that you should bring - we will send you a full list on completion of your booking.
